This view is
from up the mountain across the road (taken in October of 2,005) ....
so you can see how
the buildings are laid out on the
land. You can see photos of the individual buildings
below.
Starting at the pool (clockwise) we have the Boys' Dorm (2nd floor) & home
of Elisha & Heather (1st floor),
the kitchen/dining
room, which was our first building, begun in June of 1998 (just 4 years ago).
Then you see the School Bldg./Chapel, and the
big L-shaped dorm.
In the right back corner under the red roof is our Conference Center.
In the front on the right is our "L-shaped" Dorm
(all girls on 2nd floor, baby boys & 2 school rooms on the 1st floor).
There are 2 guest rooms in this Bldg. as well.
Next to the dorm is the Mechanic Shop in front
and the Carpentry Shop in the back.
to the left of the pool is a basketball court & play area.
We praise God for all that He has
accomplished in such a short time!

The front of our
Dining Room/Kitchen.
We broke ground for this, our first building, in June of 1999.
|

We have a "rancho"
where we meet for devotions, TV time
and lots of group activities. |

We have some beautiful landscaping...all designed by Robert.

Our 2-story School Building / Chapel
The Directors' Family (Robert and Carla with 3 youngest of their 7 "adopted" children)
presently live on the 2nd floor.
|

This is "Jubilee House" dorm, which houses all of the
girls and babies, a pharmacy/clinic, as well as
storage rooms & guest rooms.
Note
the toddlers' play area with their own swimming pool.

We are thrilled with our pools. The large one was donated by our home church, Immanuel's Church of Silver
Spring, MD. The toddler pool is on the right.

with some of our pretty flowerbeds in front of the pool. |

"Mispah House" is home for all of our big & medium size
boys -- the word "mispah"
signifies the covenant
friendship between Jonathan and David. |

|
|

This building is both the Carpentry Shop (on
this side) and a
Mechanic Shop (on the front side).
It is our desire to train our
children while having the Home's needs fulfilled.
Please pray with us that God will send us both a full time carpenter and
mechanic! |

How we LOVE our flowers!

We also have a Farm!
It is 2½ acres in size,
located across the river about a
mile from the Home.
When we bought the land where we were going to build the
home,
it was a "package
deal" and while we did not want this "extra" land, we've
come to see what a blessing it is to us.
Our farm project is to help us be more
self-supporting.
We presently have only goats, and pediweys (a cross between a goat/sheep, which
is grown for meat).
We have another small section of land
that we have purchased where
we are growing corn
and other things to feed the animals.
* Robert tells
folks that when finances get a bit "tight" we don't
have to
worry....
all we have to do is eat one of the "kids."
They're
great B-B-Q'd.....Yum, yum!!
