SONGS of JOY VISION

To accept children into our Home who we believe are sent by God, and to provide for them the basic necessities of life:  food, clothing, medical and dental care, education.

To see each of these children -- and every person who enters our gates -- experience the unconditional love of their Heavenly Father in a way that brings life and restoration to their spirits and souls.

To raise them in the teaching and admonition of the Lord, instilling into them their godly identity and potential through a daily discipleship process, as expressed in Deut. 6:6,7:

“These commandments that I give you today are to be upon

your hearts.  Impress them on your children, talk about them
when you are at home and when you walk along the road, when
you lie down and when you get up."

To teach them to be responsible, using the following methods:
    1.  Household management; care-giving skills; Cooking and home-making
         skills
    2.  Godly money management
    3.  Educational opportunities according to their aptitude
    4.  Serving others  (through medical clinics and evangelistic outreaches)

To instill in them a desire to understand God’s call on their lives to reproduce in others what they have come to know as truth.

In addition to the Children's Home, we carry the Gospel to the lost through the use of evangelistic medical clinics and outreach programs, providing medical attention, food, and clothing to the needy in the mountainous areas of Jócotan and Cámotan, here in the Chiquimula area.

Our expanding vision also includes training poor village pastors in their calling and ministry.  We sponsor a yearly International Pastors' Conferences at our Home facilities in April.  We have averaged nearly 300 pastors from Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Honduras.

Also we have  begun International Evangelistic Outreaches in other Central American countries.  To date we have been in El Salvador in January of 2,005 and in Nicaragua in January of 2006 (see details on the "Outreach" page).  Those conferences include ministry to children and youth, door-to-door evangelism in surrounding villages, medical clinics and pastors' training sessions during the day and evening evangelistic meetings.

Our goal and vision is to follow the Lord wherever and however He leads, seeking to share the love of the Father and the fellowship of the Lord Jesus in the power of the Spirit in every aspect of our lives.
